Olá e bem vindo(a) ao blog de nuno ferreira^(nf) photography. Eu sou o Nuno… um fotógrafo e professor sediado em Santarém, sempre interessado no lado criativo da vida. Sou os olhos por detrás das imagens que aqui vêem. Este blog foi criado com a intenção de vos mostrar o meu trabalho fotográfico mais recente, o que ando a fazer e dar-vos a conhecer um pouco da minha vida pessoal. A maior parte das imagens que capto acabarão por aqui aparecer, por isso, se virem algo que gostem, não hesitem em deixar um comentário! Hello and welcome to the blog of the nuno ferreira^(nf) photography. I’m Nuno… a photographer and teacher based in Santarem (Portugal), always interested in the creative side of life. I’m the eyes behind the images you see here. This blog was created to show you my recent photographic work, what I am up to and so you can know a bit about my personal life. Não resisti e tive de mostrar esta foto tirada no casamento do Sábado passado em Albergaria-a-Velha. Esta senhora tem 87 anos de idade (penso estar correcto) e continua cheia de estilo. Mais imagens em breve.

vista marina

Foi com enorme surpresa que recebi um email da minha querida amiga e fantástica fotógrafa/designer criativa Teresa Aires dizendo que o site dos apartamentos turísticos Vista Marina já se encontra online com as fotografias que fizemos em Novembro de 2009.

Se já é bastante gratificante ver o nosso trabalho reconhecido e elogiado, mais ainda é ver o produto final pronto e lançado na Internet. Obrigado por esta oportunidade, amiga.

It was with great surprise that I’ve receive an email from my dear friend and fantastic photographer/creative designer Teresa Aires telling me that the website from Vista Marina’s touristic apartments is finally online with the photos we made back in November 2009.

18 months old

Faz hoje 18 meses de idade. Sei que vou usar um velho cliché mas não resisto… Como o tempo voa! Como é possível que estes 18 meses tenham passado a uma velocidade vertiginosa?

É incrível como o amor que sinto pela Cat não pára de crescer. Ela surpreende-nos todos os dias com mais uma palavra nova, brincadeira ou gesto. Está cada vez mais esperta, o que só prova que não sai ao pai. :-)

Alguns factos curiosos:

- Continua muito preguiçosa para andar sozinha (só anda agarrada à nossa mão). Se a largamos fica sem saber o que fazer;

- Provoca-nos para brincar com ela;

- O seu boneco preferido é um ursinho branco de nome Pitchu;

- Sempre atenta a tudo o que a rodeia;

- Já usa muitas palavras para comunicar;

- As palavras que mais diz: pópó, sim, não, crucru (crocodilo), gi (girafa), porta, tosta, água, Pu (Pitchu);

- É muito selectiva com a comida, mas adora fruta e doces;

- Adora os seus livros com texturas;

- Imita o som de muitos animais;

- Faz cada vez mais birras;

- Já dorme melhor;

- Tenta comer sozinha;

- Adora ser fotografada.

Continua a maravilhar-nos, filhota. :-)

She makes 18 months old today. I know I’ll use an old cliche but I can’t resist … How time flies! How is it possible that these past 18 months have passed at lightning speed?

It’s amazing how the love I feel for Cat continues to grow. She surprises us every day with another new word, amusement or gesture. It just keeps getting smarter, which only proves that she doesn’t have her father genes. :-)

Some curious facts:

- Still too lazy to walk alone (just walk holding our hand). If we let her go she doesn’t know what to do;

- She tease us to play with her;

- Her favorite puppet is a white teddy bear named Pitchu;

- Always watching everything that surrounds her;

- Uses many words to communicate;

- The words she most use: Popó (car), yes, no, crucru (crocodile), gi (giraffe), porta (door), tots (toast), água (water), Pu (Pitchu);

- She’s very selective with food, but loves fruit and sweets;

- Love her books with textures;

- Imitates the sound of many animals;

- Gets upset very quickly;

- Sleeps better;

- Try to eat alone;

- She loves to be photographed.

Don’t forget to continue to amaze us, daughter. :-)

Aqui ficam alguns dos melhores momentos do casamento da Ana e do Filipe, realizado em Palmela no dia 2 de Maio de 2009.

O dia já deixava adivinhar as temperaturas quentes do Verão que se aproximava, mas o que mais se sentiu naquele dia, foi a felicidade deste fantástico casal. Foi um casamento diferente, ajudado pela belíssima vista que se tem do castelo de Palmela, local onde se realizou a festa.

Obrigado Ana e Filipe pelos momentos únicos e o meu agradecimento especial ao meu grande amigo e fotógrafo Félix Amaro por ter confiado em mim, num momento em que eu estava a dar os primeiros passos como fotógrafo de casamentos. Sem ele, estas fotografias não seriam possíveis.

Here are some of the best moments of Ana and Filipe’s wedding, held in Palmela on May 2 2009.

We could feel the hot summer temperatures approaching, but what we felt most that day was the happiness of this fantastic couple. It was a different wedding, helped by the beautiful view from Palmela’s castle, where they held the reception party.

Thank you Ana and Filipe for the unique moments of that day and my special thank you to my good friend and photographer Felix Amaro for trusting in me when I was taking the first steps as a wedding photographer. Without him, these photographs weren’t possible.
